Online Math Placement Assessment
Now that you have accepted admission into the College of Design at Iowa State University, it's time to take the online Math Placement Assessment. Follow the steps below to log into the online placement assessment. Broadband/DSL connection is highly recommended for this site.
Step 1: Get your ISUCard number. (YOU DO NOT NEED A CARD FOR THIS STEP) Please follow the instructions on how to get this number below.
You'll need to log into AccessPlus and find your ISUCard number. Write down the whole number - all 17 digits for step 2.

Step 2: Get your NetID.
Go to the web site called Acropolis:
- Click on "Register" to create your NetID.
- Fill in the required information, including your ISUCard number.
- Click the "Next" button.
- Be sure to write down your NetID and password - you will need them for the next step.
Allow up to 24 hours for your NetID to be activated before going to Step 3!
The next three steps will be completed on the WebCT.
To log into WebCT, you will need your NetID and your password.
