Windows XP Instructions:

1. Download this driver [XP Driver]
2. Save to a place on your hard drive (desktop is good)
3. double click on file to extract files...This will extract the file and create the printer port. You MAY have to say yes to any questions about compatible drivers!
4. The new driver is called Canon Color DOC Center.
5. Please remove the older Canon printer

Windows Vista Instructions:

1. Download this driver [Vista Driver]
2. Save to a place on your hard drive (desktop is good)
3. double click on file to extract files
4. Navigate to c:\canonC1
5. RIGHT CLICK on SetupCanonC1.cmd and choose "Run as administrator" You will get an error if you do not do this!!
6. You MAY have to say yes to any questions about compatible drivers!
7. The new driver is called Canon Color DOC Center.
8. Please remove the older Canon printer

Mac Instructions:

1. Login to the Design server at macosx1.design.iastate.edu
   User: macguest
   password: design
2. Open the Printing Volume
3. Choose the Color_Printing Folder
4. Follow the instructions for your operating system
