Problems connecting to isua.iastate.edu with FileZilla in Windows

In order to connect to isua.iastate.edu* with Filezilla in the labs, please use the following instructions:

1. Open FileZilla.

2. Go to the EDIT menu and choose SETTINGS.

3. In the Settings window, select GSS Support.

4. In the field provided, type one of the isua server addresses. For example, isua1.iastate.edu (1-5 are valid options). Click the ADD button when it appears. Double-check that you have the correct address.

5. In the servername field, type in the address of the server you just added to the GSS suport list. Type in your username and password, and click the "Quick Connect" button. As long as you already have a current Kerberos ticket, you should now be able to connect. This ticket is generated when you login to the windows machines in the lab.

* isua.iastate.edu is the address used to connect to your server space for your net-id account at ISU.
