QuarkXpress Tutorial #0005: Basic Printing from QXP6

1. Go to the FILE menu and choose PRINT.

2. Click the Setup tab and select the correct printer description:

a. For the Black and White printer: HP LaserJet 8000 series
b. For the Color printer: Canon iR C3200-C1 PS Ver1.0

This will give you all of your paper size options.

3. Select your paper size.

4. Click the Page Setup button at the lower left corner. Select the printer you want to use:

a. Black and white: Doc_Printer_2
b. Color: Doc_Color_Printer

5. Click the Printer button and make sure that the correct printer is selected (same options as above).

6. Click the Output tab and change the Halftoning item to “Printer”.

7. Click the Options tab and change the Data item to “Clean 8-bit”.

8. Click the Print button to print.
