0007 - Printing to the Epson Wide Printer from MacOS X

MacOS X: New Instructions for submitting jobs to the Epson WideFormat Printer:

*****Save your file as a PDF, using the High Quality Settings.

To transfer your file to the drop_box:

1. Go to the “GO” menu, and choose “Connect to Server”.
2. Enter the following address: smb://epson4000.design.iastate.edu

2. Enter your net-id and password to login.

3. Select the drop_box share.
4. Drag your file into the drop_box window to copy it to
the release station.
5. Go to room 426 to have the job printed, and to pay for the job with your ISU card (CY-Cash).

Reminder: If you discover an error in your printed document (i.e., wrong size, elements not printing, fonts not printing correctly, wrong colors, wrong # of pages, etc.), you are still responsible for the cost of the print. Please double-check your document for errors before sending!
