Lab Updates and Announcements

07-06-09 - The labs will be closing for the summer at 5:00 pm, Friday July 10th. We will reopen August 24th, on the first day of classes. We will be operating with reduced hours for the first week of classes, until all lab monitors are hired and trained, and schedules are finalized.

11-03-08 - Solving the InDesign Print Orientation Problem (Color Printer): The first page will print fine, but subsequent pages be oriented incorrectly. This usually can be resolved by clicking the "Page Setup" button at the bottom left of the print dialog, selecting the color printer from the "Format For:" menu, and setting the correct page size and orientation. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to stick, so it has to be done every time that you send a file to print, just to make sure that the page will be formatted correctly. This has worked for quite a few people, but I do not know if it is a complete fix in all situations.
