Iowa State University is organized into seven colleges. The College of Design offers six professional academic programs, including architecture, landscape architecture, community and regional planning, integrated studio arts, interior design and graphic design at undergraduate and graduate levels.

 

All entering freshmen are enrolled in the college's pre-professional Core Design Program, which includes introductory courses in design studio, design representation, and design cultures. All of our professional programs have managed enrollment requiring a portfolio review at the end of the first year for admittance.
