Beginning in fall 2008, students enrolled in Art IS 310: Sources of Visual Design will travel to Chicago for two days to visit the Art Institute of Chicago, Museum of Contemporary Art, and several private galleries, and to view significant examples of public art.
The trip affords students the opportunity for first-hand study of completed work important to their development as artists. It also serves as an introduction to one of the world's great art museums as well as a variety of other venues where art is exhibited or sold.
