Education Dipl.-Ing. in Architecture at the Technical University Berlin, 1990 registered Architect in Germany since 1993 Member of the BDA Berlin since 2005 International Associate Member to the The American Institute of Architects (AIA) since 2008 Research Interests Integrated design and building energy performance evaluation; free-flow open space, air flow, modern architecture intertwined between culture, climate and nature as in the work of Alvar Aalto, materiality and construction, energyefficiency, sustainability in a critical cultural context. My compass for research is the Passage du Nord-Ouest as taken by Michel Serres to describe the passage between the humanities and science.
