Rome Program
The College's flagship Rome Program allows students to study for a semester or a summer in their chosen discipline while they take classes that are fully integrated with the ISU curriculum. Click here for more information.

Architecture students interested in participating in this program for spring 2009 should register for Dsn S 301 in fall 2008.

 
Field Studies in Chinese Art and Architecture
Architecture students can travel to China for three weeks to study Chinese art, architecture, landscape, and urban design. The program features direct interaction with leading Chinese artists, architects, landscape, and urban designers and first-hand experience of Chinese art treasures, landmark Chinese natural and built environment. Students will be exposed to the social, economic, and political forces that shape the paradigm of Chinese art and built forms. This program is generally offered each year, with the last offering in May 2008. 
 
Pacific Rim Traveling Studio
Landscape architecture students can participate in the Pacific Rim Traveling Studio through Malaysia, New Zealand and Australia from May to August. Students are provided with the opportunity to undertake an urban design studio exploration while being introduced to and familiarized with different Pacific Rim cultures in urban, suburban and rural environments. This program is generally offered every other year, with the last offering in summer 2008.
