Employers who frequently hire interns may provide assistance in locating temporary housing, so inquire if housing assistance is available. Some firms provide housing for interns but, this is the exception rather than the norm. Be prepared to find and pay for your housing while interning.
Consider contacting colleges and universities; often residence hall housing is available at affordable rents during the Summer. You might also want to check out YM-YWCA's.
