ISU College of Design LinkedIn Group: Join this group and begin networking with professional alumni from across the nation and beyond.
The ISU on-line alumni directory is available to student and alumni
members of the ISU Alumni Association. The career networking search is a very powerful tool that allows
you to look up alumni by their business information, curriculum,
college, and class year as well as their name.
Benefits of Joining the Student Alumni Association
Each year, the Student Alumni Association (SAA) provides
5,000 students with unlimited access to over 90 local business
discounts. Members may use their card to receive discounts throughout
the year for food, clothing, ISU gear, school supplies, arts and
crafts, parking, video rental and the list goes on and on. In addition
to the discounts, SAA members receive an Iowa State t-shirt, a full
color calendar, and a carabiner (keychain) in the shape of an "I", "S",
or "U". They also receive free access to CySpace, (our
online directory which is a great networking tool where many students
end up finding jobs), free food on campus twice a year and reduced
pricing for ISU Alumni Association events. A member can join Cyclone
Alley, our premiere basketball spirit group, at a discounted rate. If
a student uses his or her card over the course of their membership they
could easily save hundreds of dollars.
Membership for SAA is $20 per year or $70 for four years. Students who join both Cyclone Alley and SAA can join for $30 instead of $35.
