Studies in Creativity CALL FOR ENTRIES
The Student Union Board (SUB) is issuing a call for entries for Studies in Creativity 2007, the annual fall student juried art exhibition at the Memorial Union.
Studies is open to any student currently enrolled at Iowa State University. Up to three entries in any media will be accepted. The artwork drop-off date for jurying is Monday, October 22nd from 10 am - 2 pm in the MU Gallery. The exhibit will be on display October 25 â€" December 4, 2007. Entries will be juried by Justin Nostrala of Indianola, Iowa. Nostrala received his Bachelor of Arts Degree with a focus in Painting from Simpson College, and a Masters of Art degree in 1998 and a Master of Fine Arts degree in 1999 from the University of Iowa. Since 2001 Nostrala has been back teaching art at Simpson College where he is now a tenured faculty member. He continues to create art, mainly oil paintings and charcoal drawings, in his studio in Indianola.
