Local and Global Community Building

There are varying levels of learning through art which can lead from cultural understanding to social transformation. Imitating and viewing art of another culture to learn about it is an initial approach. Inserting cross cultural views and products throughout the curriculum goes further to develop multiculturalism. Correcting or calling attention to inequities and injustice through art education is even more proactive according to many current art educators and artists.
